Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Alpine Logic LLC (“Alpine Logic,” “we,” or “us”), which operates Saiga, collects, uses, and shares information when you visit saiga.app and join our early-access waitlist. Saiga is not yet generally available; this policy covers our marketing site and the waitlist. Questions? Email hello@saiga.app.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you join the waitlist, we collect your name, work email address, and company name (and, if asked, your company size).

Information we collect automatically. When you visit the site or submit the form, we may collect your IP address, your approximate location (country, derived from your IP by our hosting provider), and information about how you use the site (pages viewed, buttons clicked, and similar usage data), along with referral information and any campaign parameters (UTM tags) and ad-click identifiers in the link you arrived from.

Cookies and similar technologies. Our analytics run in a cookieless mode, meaning they do not store cookies or similar identifiers on your device. Separately, when you arrive from one of our ads, we and our advertising and social media providers may use cookies and similar technologies to measure how the ad performed and to show relevant ads to you and to people like you. We do not use these advertising technologies for visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland.

How we use information

We use the information to operate and manage the waitlist; to contact you about your early-access invite; to understand how people use the site and which links bring them here (analytics and attribution); to protect the site against spam and abuse; and to comply with our legal obligations.

Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent (for marketing emails) and our legitimate interests (operating the waitlist, basic analytics, and security) as the legal bases for processing your information. You can withdraw consent at any time.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us run the site and waitlist, including Cloudflare (website hosting, storage of waitlist entries, and security) and PostHog (privacy-friendly product analytics). We also share limited information (such as a scrambled version of your email, your IP address, and ad-click identifiers) with our advertising and social media providers to measure our ad campaigns and reach similar audiences; we do not do this for visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland. These providers process information on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information for money, though sharing data with advertising providers as described may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under some U.S. state privacy laws.

Cookies, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control

Our analytics are cookieless. Our advertising tools, however, may set advertising cookies when you arrive from one of our ads, except for visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, where we do not run them. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal; because there is no common industry standard for these, we do not respond to them at this time.

How long we keep information

We keep waitlist information for as long as we need it to manage the waitlist and send your invite, and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are a California resident, you may have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information and to opt out of its sale or sharing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@saiga.app. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Your California privacy choices

We use advertising and social media providers in a way that may be considered “sharing” your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as described above, though never for visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland. If you have a privacy request, email hello@saiga.app and we will do our best to honor it.

International data transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers of personal information out of the EEA or UK.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site and waitlist are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site after the changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
